I recently purchased a bucket full of antique glass insulators from railroad electrical wires at a barn sale. The lady I bought them from asked me what I was going to do with them (she had no use for them, which was why she was selling them for next to nothing) and I didn't have an answer for her. As a result I set about finding a use for them, and the best thing I came up with so far is serving alcoholic drinks in them. Pictured above is a cosmopolitan.
