This garment I designed if for my draping class. The assignment was to design a wrap to go over a black dress. I created a structure underneath the black fabric out of buckrum and then fed the black fabric through this structure and over the top to conceal it. I changed the design as I went along letting the fabric guide me. Draping can be a little like painting and you have to be ready to let the medium take you where it wants to go.
